who created this tree and when? it was printed in the book by Hillhouse and Petigru. the original was probably created by a member of the New England branch, after about 1810 (presumably James A. "the poet" was an adult). the branch with William of the Provence was probably added by a member ot the Hillhouse Southern Branch. the DNA tells us that William of the Provence was not a direct male-line descendant of John of Free Hall, so

THAT PART OF THE TREE IS NOT ACCURATE.
